Humble Beginnings in Rural Kentucky

Born and raised in a small house in rural Kentucky, Albert learned the value of hard work and integrity from an early age. His parents' divorce when he was seven forced Albert to mature quickly. While his mother pursued a nursing degree, Albert helped raise his younger brother, taking on responsibilities far beyond his years.

Even in those early days, Albert's character began to take shape, rooted in the principles of honesty, family, and perseverance

The Seeds of an Entrepreneurial Spirit

By the age of 14, Albert had already begun carving out a path for himself. He started his own lawn care business, eventually managing 45 yards a week. This experience taught him the importance of discipline and determination, traits that only grew stronger as he progressed through high school.

During his high school years, Albert discovered his passion for the trades. Initially drawn to underwater welding, a guest speaker’s harrowing story about the dangers of the field caused him to pivot toward electrical work—a decision that would set the foundation for his career.

The Decision to Forge His Own Path

After high school, Albert gained hands-on experience working for various companies in electrical work, construction, and even logging. However, by the age of 23, Albert became disillusioned with the leadership styles he encountered.

Tired of bosses who led with harshness rather than compassion, Albert decided to start his own construction business. His goal was clear: to create a workplace culture where employees were respected, supported, and valued. Over time, he expanded his offerings to include electrical services, combining his technical expertise with his commitment to integrity and quality

Growth Through Adversity: The Turning Point in 2010

In 2010, a devastating flood provided both challenges and opportunities for Albert’s growing company. His team took on large-scale restoration projects, quickly building a reputation for quality work. The flood proved to be a major turning point, introducing Albert to industrial and commercial electrical work.

By his mid-30s, Albert had transformed his small business into a thriving enterprise with over 40 employees, specializing in steel structures, construction, and electrical services.

A Hard Fall and a Life-Altering Experience

Rapid growth, however, came at a cost. A serious accident during Albert’s volunteer firefighter duties left him physically unable to oversee his business. Coupled with financial losses from overextension, Albert’s company struggled, and he found himself at one of the lowest points in his life.

During this period of despair, Albert began to entertain thoughts of leaving it all behind. It was at this pivotal moment that a friend invited him to an Emmaus Walk, a spiritual retreat for Christian men.

The weekend retreat became a profound turning point for Albert. Through prayer and reflection, he reconnected with his faith and found renewed clarity and purpose. He realized that his family and community needed him, and his journey was far from over. This realization gave him the strength to refocus his efforts on what mattered most: his faith, his family, and his business.

A Renewed Purpose and Vision

Following the retreat, Albert made the decision to downsize his company and focus on the work he loved most—industrial and commercial electrical services. His renewed vision was clear: to empower his employees, provide financial stability for their families, and give back to his community in meaningful ways.

Albert’s actions now reflect his unwavering commitment to servant leadership. From supporting his children’s Christian school to delivering campers to hurricane victims in North Carolina, Albert has made service a cornerstone of his life and business.

Building a Legacy of Empowerment

Today, Albert is focused on creating a business that is more than just an electrical contractor. He envisions a company that embodies Christian values, fosters trust, and provides a platform for his employees to build lives they can be proud of.

Albert’s journey continues to inspire those around him, from his loyal employees to the clients and communities he serves. He has proven that success is not measured solely by profits but by the purpose and positive impact a business can bring to the world.

Through his resilience, faith, and leadership, Albert has built a brand that stands as a beacon of hope and empowerment, ensuring that his legacy will endure for generations to come.
